Hip-Hop School

The Hip-Hop School is a space where young people aged 10 to 30 can immerse themselves in the different elements of hip-hop culture—rap, slam poetry, stage performance, dance, graffiti, and other art forms. But beyond the artistic skills, the school represents something deeper: a place of discipline, resilience, and self-discovery.

Situated in the Northern Quarter, a neighborhood facing significant social challenges, the Hip-Hop School provides a safe, structured environment for young people to grow. The school doesn’t just teach students how to rap or breakdance; it teaches them that success in the music industry—and in life—requires more than talent. By encouraging students to pursue their education and obtain a diploma, the school opens their eyes to the opportunities beyond their dance practice. A highligh within the school is La Belle Hip-Hop, a crew dedicated to shining a light on female MCs and giving young women the support, visibility, and mentorship they need in an industry that often overlooks them.

Active every Saturday and Sunday from 14:00 to 18:00 at TRACK, the Hip-Hop School is more than just a place to learn—it’s a community reshaping the Northern Quarter through the power of hip-hop.
